Did you know that plastic bottle caps take around 450 years to decompose? We are on a mission to make a sculpture of a wave made out of bottle lids to get the message across that in only a few short years we will be swimming in an ocean of plastic. We are going to need around 1,000 plastic bottle caps to make a wave. We call this project Ocean Mission. We are well on our way after many hours of walking the streets of the Surf Coast collecting the caps. Our next step is to transform all our caps into a wave without creating more waste.
